Natural Evolution was the first company in the world to commercially produce green banana flour (previously trading as Mt Uncle’s Banana Flour). In the 5 years of commercial production Natural Evolution have made incredible scientific discoveries. One of the most significant is discovering the highest natural resistant starch found in a variety of bananas grown in Tropical North Queensland locally known as Lady Fingers. Recently (Mid 2016) Natural Evolution continued their studies of green bananas and discovered green Lady Fingers contain 5HTP – Hydroxytryptophan (precursor for serotonin). Not all bananas are equal in nutritional value, with more than a 1000 varieties Lady Finger bananas have been scientifically proven to contain higher qualities than others.
NutroLock technology (the method in which Natural Evolution produce green banana flour and resistant starch) has been scientifically tested to lock in 20-50 times more nutrition compared with other standard food processing techniques.
NutroLock technology is a fully in line, cold, raw, low speed food processing technique designed entirely in-house by Natural Evolution Founder Rob Watkins.
NutroLock technology is energy efficient and has the capability to take a green banana (or any other fruit/vegetable) to powder in under 25 minutes, with minimal labour and a minimum output of 1tonne per 8hr shift with 2person workforce.
